Who we are. LinkToLooks helps Instagram creators turn their own photos and Reels into shoppable storefronts. Contact: privacy@linktolooks.com.

What we collect

When you connect your Instagram professional account, we receive — with your explicit permission via Instagram login — your Instagram user ID, username, account type, and your media: media IDs, image or video files, captions, permalinks, and timestamps. We do not receive your password. We do not collect data about your followers, your messages, or your comments.

What we do with it

We analyse your media to detect products visible in it and propose retailer links. Proposed links are shown to you for approval; nothing is published without your approval.

To find where a product is sold, we may send a cropped image of the product — never a full post, and never an image containing a person's face or a minor — to search-infrastructure providers acting as our processors: Bright Data (search retrieval), Google (image search), and Anthropic (image analysis).

What we don't do

Retention

Media files and derived detections are kept while your account is connected. Disconnecting deletes them — see Deletion below.

Deletion

You can delete everything at any time, three ways:

Deletion removes stored media, crops, detections, and access tokens within 30 days, keeping only anonymous aggregate statistics. Your storefront page is unpublished immediately.

Payments

If you monetise your storefront, commission accounting requires retaining transaction records for as long as the law requires.

Changes

We will post any changes on this page and update the date above.
